Setting Up NFC with Mobal

Mobal's NFC technology allows businesses to seamlessly connect customers to their online profiles, menus, or promotional content with just a tap. Follow this guide to set up your NFC tag and start using it effectively.

Step 1: Activate Your NFC Card

  1. Receive Your NFC Card – Upon receiving your Mobal NFC card, ensure your device has NFC enabled.

  2. Scan Your NFC Card for the First Time – Hold your phone near the NFC card to initiate the setup process.

  3. Redirection to Review Page – You will be redirected to review.mobal.io/profile-review?placeId=xxx.

  4. Automatic Redirect to Signup – The system will redirect you further to review.mobal.io/dashboard/signup?placeId=xxx.

  5. Sign Up on Mobal – Complete the signup process, and a Mobal profile is created in the background for placeId=xxx.


Step 2: Connect Google and Write a Review

  1. Connect Your Google Account – Follow the prompts to connect your Google account to Mobal.

  2. Redirection to Google Review Page – After connecting Google, you will be redirected to the Google review section.


Step 3: Scan NFC Card Again for Direct Review Access

  1. Scan Your NFC Card a Second Time – Hold your phone near the card again.

  2. Direct Google Redirection – This time, you will be taken directly to the Google review page to leave a review.


Troubleshooting

  • Tag Not Responding?

    • Ensure NFC is enabled on your phone.

    • Try a different NFC-compatible device.

    • Check if the card is damaged.

  • Redirection Issues?

    • Clear your phone’s cache and retry.

    • Ensure you have completed the signup process.
