When you connect a profile to Mobal—like your Google Business Profile or Facebook Page—you might see the status "Pending setup" next to it. This simply means that the connection has started, but there are still a few steps needed before Mobal can begin syncing data or publishing updates.

Why am I seeing “Pending setup”?

Here are the most common reasons you’ll see this status:

Reason

What you can do

🔒 Permissions are incomplete

You may need to accept certain permissions so Mobal can manage your profile fully.

🔗 The profile hasn’t been confirmed or verified

For Google, the Business Profile must be verified before Mobal can sync with it.

⚙️ Manual setup steps are still in progress

Some settings (like selecting a location or confirming ownership) need to be completed.

🕒 Sync is still being processed

It may take a few minutes after connecting for Mobal to confirm everything.

How to fix it

To complete the setup, go to the Profiles tab in your Mobal dashboard and follow any on-screen instructions. If there’s something missing, Mobal will guide you step-by-step.

You might be asked to:

  • Accept permissions on Google or Facebook

  • Confirm the correct business location

  • Verify ownership of your profile

  • Finish connecting an incomplete integration

Still stuck?

If you’re unsure what’s missing or nothing seems to be happening, our support team is happy to help. Reach out through the in-app chat or contact us here.

Once everything is set up correctly, the status will change to Connected, and Mobal will start syncing and tracking your profile automatically.
