Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Account

1. Go to the Apple Business Connect Portal

Visit businessconnect.apple.com and sign in using your work email address with your company’s domain. This strengthens your connection to the business during Apple’s verification process.

Note: You can transfer ownership of the account later if needed.

2. Sign In with Your Apple ID

Use an Apple ID that is tied to your work email address. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to create it first. Ensure two-factor authentication is activated for security.

3. Add Your Company Details

You’ll need to provide:

  • Legal business name

  • Business address (must match your verification documents)

  • Phone number

  • Website(it must use https://)

    • A Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok page can also be used

  • Government ID (Government-Issued identification information)

4. Upload Verification Documents

Apple requires official documents to verify your business. These must be dated within the last year. Make sure the company name and address match exactly across all documents.

✅ Accepted Documents

Document Type

Requirements

Business license or government registration

Must include legal name and address

Utility bill

Electricity, water, internet, or gas — in the company’s name

Other official government-issued document

Must clearly show the company name and address

❌ Not Accepted Documents

Not Allowed

Examples

Third-party invoices or contracts

Marketing or agency service invoices, vendor contracts not related to address verification

5. Submit Your Application

Once all information and documents are uploaded, Apple will review your submission. This process typically takes a few business days. You will be notified by email once your business is verified and approved.

Tips for a Smooth Verification

  • Make sure the company name and address match exactly across all documents.

  • Use a corporate email address instead of a generic provider (e.g., no @gmail.com).

  • Double-check that documents are dated within the past 12 months.
