1. Change the Brand Category on Apple
Log in to your Apple Business account.
Navigate to your brand profile.
Find the “Category” section.
Select the new category that best fits your brand.
Save your changes.
Tip: It may take some time for changes to be reflected across Apple services.
2. Update the Category for All Locations on Mobal
Once your Apple category is updated, you should make sure all your locations on Mobal reflect the same category.
Log in to your Mobal account.
Go to the “Profiles” tab.
Select all locations that need the category update.
Edit the category to match the one you set on Apple.
Save your changes.
Tip: Use the bulk edit feature in Mobal to update multiple locations at once, if available.
Important: Enhanced Access Required
You can only change the brand category if you have access to the profiles in Apple Business Connect. To ensure that changes made in Mobal are reflected on Apple, you must have Enhanced Access activated in Mobal. If you do not have Enhanced Access, please follow the steps to set up Enhanced Access for Apple Maps.
