User Roles & Permissions on Mobal

The three user roles in Mobal, what each can do, and how to change a user's role or access.

Written by Mobal Support

Each user in Mobal has a role, and the role decides what they can do. You choose the role when you invite someone, and you can change it later. This article explains the roles, what admin users are, and how to change a user's role or access.

The roles

  • Full access: can manage the company and use all features, including inviting other users.

  • All features: can use all features, but can't invite other users.

  • Limited access: can use only the features you choose.

Admin users are users with Full access to your whole company. They can invite new users to the company and manage the team. On the Users page they are counted as Admin users.

A user with Full access to only selected profiles can invite other users to those profiles, but not to the whole company.

How to change a user's role or access

You need to be an admin user to do this.

  1. Go to Settings in the left menu and select the Users tab.

  2. Find the user and click the edit icon in the Actions column. The Manage User window opens.

  3. Change the role under Company level access, or click + Add to give access to more Profiles or Profile groups.

  4. Click Close when you're done.

Our support team can't change a user's role or access without approval from your company's admin users.
