Posts you've published or scheduled from Mobal can be removed at any time from the Posts tab of a business profile. This guide explains who can delete a post, how to do it, and what actually happens on each connected platform when you do.
đ Who Can Delete Posts
Deleting a post requires the Posts permission. The following roles have it:
Admin
Full access
Content Manager â can create, publish, and remove posts on connected platforms
Users without one of these roles won't see the delete option. See User Roles & Permissions on Mobal for the full breakdown of roles and permissions.
â Steps to Delete a Post
Sign in to Mobal and go to Profiles
Open the profile that contains the post
Select the Posts tab
Find the post you want to remove and click the red trash icon on it
Confirm the removal in the "Delete post" dialog
đď¸ The trash icon is only shown for posts you have permission to delete.
đ What Happens When You Delete a Post
What deleting a post actually does depends on its status and platform:
Post status / platform | What happens |
Draft or scheduled | The post is cancelled in Mobal and never published |
Published to Google Business Profile | Removed from Mobal and deleted from Google Business Profile |
Published to Facebook | Removed from Mobal and deleted from the Facebook page |
Published to Instagram | Removed from Mobal only â not removed from Instagram. Delete it directly in Instagram if needed. |
