How to Delete a Post in Mobal

Learn how to delete a post from a business profile in Mobal, who has permission to do it, and what happens on each connected platform when you do.

Written by Mobal Support

Posts you've published or scheduled from Mobal can be removed at any time from the Posts tab of a business profile. This guide explains who can delete a post, how to do it, and what actually happens on each connected platform when you do.

🔐 Who Can Delete Posts

Deleting a post requires the Posts permission. The following roles have it:

  • Admin

  • Full access

  • Content Manager — can create, publish, and remove posts on connected platforms

Users without one of these roles won't see the delete option. See User Roles & Permissions on Mobal for the full breakdown of roles and permissions.

✅ Steps to Delete a Post

  1. Sign in to Mobal and go to Profiles

  2. Open the profile that contains the post

  3. Select the Posts tab

  4. Find the post you want to remove and click the red trash icon on it

  5. Confirm the removal in the "Delete post" dialog

🗑️ The trash icon is only shown for posts you have permission to delete.

📌 What Happens When You Delete a Post

What deleting a post actually does depends on its status and platform:

The post is cancelled in Mobal and never published

Published to Google Business Profile
