🔧 Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
Ensure Your Instagram Account is a Business Account
Personal accounts are not supported.
Convert to a business account on Instagram if needed.
Check Your Facebook Page Connection
Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page.
Go to Settings > Linked Accounts and confirm the connection.
Reconnect Instagram in Mobal
Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Instagram in Mobal.
Click Reconnect and go through the Facebook/Instagram authorization flow.
Ensure all permissions are granted when prompted.
Grant the Required Permissions
Permissions needed:
instagram_basic
pages_show_list
ads_read
instagram_manage_insights
If these weren’t granted, remove the app from your Facebook Business Integrations and reconnect.
Clear Token and Reconnect (if needed)
In Mobal, go to Integrations > Instagram > Troubleshoot > Reset token.
Then, reconnect the integration.
🧪 Test the Connection
After reconnecting, return to your Insights Dashboard in Mobal and try refreshing the data.
